Projects of Lincolnshire Youth Mission

Our method of working is to form a partnership with a small group of churches in a local area to form a youth project.  One or more paid Youth Missioners are assigned to each project, and the partner churches provide volunteers to work alongside our missioner.  The local churches agree with the missioner, through a Steering Group for the project, what work he or she will undertake.

At least one of the directors of LYM will be a part of the steering group for that project.

Partner churches contribute directly to the cost of employing the youth missioner(s) who will work with that project.  We also seek grant aid to cover the employment and operating costs of the company.  Are you able to help?  If you would like to discuss making a gift of any size, please contact either the Chair, Vice-Chair or Treasurer via our feedback form.

The Boston RoadHoG Project

Our second project is now well established. RoadHoG (link opens in a new browser tab.window) is a bus-based project - the House of God on the road. The RoadHoG Fund Raiser has secured the necessary funds to buy and convert a double-decker bus and through ongoing donations we hope to run it for a minumum of five years. Our youth missioner for this project is Tony Coe.

Several other grant applications have been submitted, and we wait to hear the outcome of those applications eagerly.
